From grilling to even baking, there is very little that you can’t do with this model. On the other hand, the higher temps make it an excellent option for all other types of cooking. A truly great smoker needs to have a minimal temp of about 180 degrees Fahrenheit, while this pellet grill only starts at the 200 mark. The only gripe that I have here is that the low temperatures on the Rec Tec Stampede aren’t that low at all. The good news is that the RT 590 seems to have this well in hand. It goes without saying that temperature control is one of the key components of any pellet smoker or grill. This is something that you will certainly appreciate when you need to store it. Therefore, while this pellet grill offers up plenty of interior space, it takes up as little space on the outside as possible. Rather, it is so that you are able to maximize space.
